Community Service

Each New Jersey league develops and operates its own community service initiatives.  The Junior League of Bergen County offers StarPower, a program for fifth and sixth grade girls designed to address adolescent issues and build self-esteem. The Junior League of Greater Princeton operates ROCKETS, an early literacy program designed to improve the math and science skills of preschool children.  The Junior League of Elizabeth-Plainfield conducts The Career Closet, a career dressing program for needy women returning to the work force.
